Safety Officer - HSE

The client is a very well established construction company specializing in commercial and large residential construction.
Some of the Safety Officer duties will include; - Deliver on safety management plans and safety objectives
- Assist in accident/incident investigations and assist in the identification corrective actions
- Conduct regular inspections and audits
- Enforce safety regulations and ensure best safe work practice where required
- Regularly review the site specific safety documents for required amendments
- Provide effective advice and guidance to all company personnel on effective health, safety and training practices
- Analysis of trends in relation to workplace safety performance
Preferred Safety Officer Requirements: - Minimum Diploma in OHS and/or Cert IV TAE
- An excellent understanding of setting up safety systems
- At least 2 years construction safety experience
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of relevant OH&S legislation and Standards
